As the Fall comes to a close, all the Sunrise Community Groups will come together to share stories of how we’ve seen God at work in us, through us, and around us, at the Celebration Banquet on Sunday, November 24th from 6 - 8 pm. Celebration is one of the 7 rhythms of our discipleship pathway and is an important part of our Christian journey. Think of the sacred annual feasts in the Old Testament that God instituted for His people - much of the focus of these feasts was to remember the good (great!) things that God had done. They were about keeping his good works in front of the people - keeping it on their minds, because they were constantly forgetting what the Lord had done.
This is a special time of celebration, so we encourage you to dress up and make it a nice date night (bring your spouse even if they haven’t been a part of your group so far). If you need childcare, please let us know by November 14th so we can make arrangements. Chef Brayden has a very special meal planned, and is an incredible deal at only $10 per person!
