Dios le bendiga!
Pastor Kord here, and I’m excited to share how God is already moving in incredible ways during our time in Mexico. This morning, we had the joy of worshiping with our brothers and sisters at Rey de Reyes El Shaddai church. It was a beautiful time of unity in Christ as we lifted our voices in both English and Spanish, a small reflection of the picture we see in Revelation 7:9—“After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb.”
Sharing the Gospel with Boldness
I had the privilege of preaching on Romans 1:16:
“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.”
This verse reminds us that the Gospel is not just good news—it is the power of God for salvation! It was an encouragement to see the church engage with the message and be reminded of the boldness we are called to have in sharing the love of Christ.
A big thank you to Joel Fink for translating (and for making jokes about me when I couldn’t understand—I’ll get you back for that!). The laughter, fellowship, and shared moments of worship made for an unforgettable morning.
A Call to Prayer as We Begin Our Work
The Gospel was proclaimed, the church was encouraged, and new bonds were formed. But our mission doesn’t stop here—tomorrow, we get to work!
As we step into the next part of our trip, we ask for your continued prayers:
That God would be seen in everything we do, whether in word or deed (Colossians 3:17).
That our work would be fruitful and a blessing to the church (Galatians 6:9).
That we would serve with humility and love, remembering that we are the hands and feet of Christ (Matthew 25:40).
Thank You, Sunrise!
We are so grateful for your support, encouragement, and prayers. This trip would not be possible without the faithfulness of our church family, and we can’t wait to share more stories of what God is doing here in Mexico!
Stay tuned for more updates, and keep praying for God to be glorified!
Hasta luego!
