This Friday, our mission team embarks on a journey to Mexico, a trip that has been months in the making. We are filled with anticipation, knowing that God has already gone before us, preparing the way (Deuteronomy 31:8). Our prayer is that this trip will not only bless the community we serve but also deepen the faith of our students as they step out in obedience to Christ’s call to “go and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).
Partnering in Ministry
We are incredibly grateful for our ministry partner, GoMissionsToMexico. Their faithful service over the decades has made it possible for us to engage in meaningful ministry in these communities. This year, we are especially excited to serve alongside Pastor Jose Reyes, who has been leading his church, Rey de Reyes El Shaddai (King of Kings Almighty), in La Cárdenas for the past nine years with his family. His dedication to the Gospel is a beautiful reflection of 1 Corinthians 15:58—“Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.”
What’s Ahead
Throughout our time in Mexico, we will be serving in a variety of ways—whether through construction projects, children’s ministry, community outreach, or simply encouraging our brothers and sisters in Christ. We look forward to sharing updates from the mission field, giving you a closer look at the people we are honored to serve and the ways God is moving.
How You Can Pray
As we prepare to go, we ask for your prayers:
For safe travels – “The Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore” (Psalm 121:8).
For the hearts of those we will serve – that they would be open to the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
For our team – that we would serve with humility, unity, and the boldness to share the Gospel (Colossians 3:23).
For Pastor Jose and his church – that God would strengthen their ministry and provide for their needs.
Join Us on the Journey
Thank you for being part of this journey with us! We are excited to witness and share the stories of God’s faithfulness in the coming days. May all we do be for His glory (1 Corinthians 10:31).
Stay tuned for more updates, and please continue to lift us up in prayer!
